Area Description
The Heads is the headland suburb at the mouth of the Knysna Lagoon, on the Garden Route in the Western Cape, falling within the Knysna Local Municipality and the Garden Route District. The area sits above the channel between the Eastern and Western Heads where the lagoon meets the Indian Ocean, and is one of Knysna’s most established residential addresses, characterised by elevated, view-oriented homes on steep cliffside streets. The East Head View Point and Coney Glen Beach are both within half a kilometre of the property, and Leisure Isle is about a kilometre away across the lagoon edge. The Pezula estate and its championship golf course lie roughly two kilometres east, and Life Knysna Private Hospital is about three kilometres north.
