How do you manage success?

I base success on achieving continuous incremental improvement. As long as I am consistently achieving small gains, over time this will invariably add up to massive wins.

What’s the toughest part of being in charge?

I have come too realize that each individual person within the organization has his/her own set of challenges. Being in charge means approaching each person with understanding and empathy however at some point it is necessary to step back in order to prevent getting to emotionally entrenched in certain situations.

What’s the best motivator for employees?

I believe that achieving breakthroughs and witnessing others achieving success is the single biggest motivating force for employees. No one wants to dedicate time and effort towards a pursuit without achieving results.

How do you cope with stress?

Often the answer lies with doing something simple to separates yourself from a stressful situation. Simple things like going for a 10-minute walk can make a world of difference. I also find that changing my perspective on the situation helps, I often ask myself if I will remember this situation in 3 years times?

What has been the single most influential factor in achieving success?

Reading. Its as simple as that. From an early age I started reading what ever I could get my hands on and I haven’t stopped since. Reading allows you to absorb information relevant to your pursuits and can potentially provide a massive shortcut to achieving one’s objectives.  An open-minded attitude to constantly learn from people and situations is critical to enhancing one’s knowledge.

What have you been forced to learn over the last year?

I have had to learn the art of saying no. It is far easier to always say yes however this leads to sub optimal decisions being made. The trick is to focus on the 20% that generates the 80%.

What do you love most about your job?

The opportunity to consistently come up with new ideas and put them in action. It also helps being surrounded by like minded individuals who are on the same mission.

How do you differentiate your company to your competitors?

We have a fluid approach to business that allows us the flexibility to design and execute individual sales methodologies that hinge on both traditional and digital marketing techniques. Our agents approach each property with total focus.

AuctionInc. will be launching online auctions which will enable us to have auctions every day of the week.
